Cochin


Church of St Francis Cochin, in Ernakulam, is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. It is the commercial capital and the major cosmopolitan city of Kerala,with a fine natural harbour it has been Kerala's centre of maritime and spice trade for many centuries. The ruling power of this city has been handed over by many communities. Firstly this town is shaped by the Portuguese, then the Dutch and later the British. Kumarakom


Kumarakom is a lovely land around the azure Vembanad lake,hemmed in by the cluster of islands. This place is also a home to many species of migrant birds. Vembanad lake is the largest backwater in Kerala.
